What is the cheapest, yet healthy, way to feed?

ny daughter is first a trainer and second a graduate of college with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She learned to use pasture in the summer and mixed her own grain with oil. You could go to a college and talk to someone in the science dept to help you develope a nutritional feed for the horse. You would be surprised what you would learn and how much money you can save etc...
