I like this Muslim boy. Is what I'm doing wrong?

In Islam, its Haraam (forbidden) to date when you are not married or engaged. You can be friends (go to the movies, or whatever), Maybe, he just turned on you because he maybe shy of having a girl in his "friend group" or its maybe he is following what the Quran (the Holy Book) has taught him...or maybe he doesn't wanna get in trouble with his parents...you never know ;)
