Do/did you listen to hip hop on the radio? And did it influence your music taste at all?

Don't really listen to the radio that much nowadays, I still do once in a while though, mostly at work. I used to listen to the radio a ton though till around 2006. Especially like the mixes, cause the DJs usually thrown in some of their own favorites and do on the fly remixes, acapellas and beats from different songs etc. Before I really started looking for music on the internet the radio was put me up on different artists (i.e. 8Ball&MJG, Lupe Fiasco before he blew up). Always relished my trips to NY to see my fam too cause I'd get to listen to Hot 97 *drools*.
