Can you turbo an automatic Scion tC? Is it as efficient as a manual, boosted car?

Turbocharging a engine will decrease fuel economy. Depending on how much horsepower you desire to tune the engine to. The Scion TC is a very sporty coupe, and there's always a fuel economy difference with automatic and manual transmission cars. Manual transmission usually get better fuel economy because its lighter and has less parts than that of an automatic transmission. I would say go for it, if you're getting the recently redesigned TC which already has a factory output of 180hp, I would say if you stay below 200hp you won't hurt your fuel economy too much. I really hope you don't give up on stick shift. I've done the same and regret it now.
